Noteyy Available
Say it once. Then it's gone.
Write a note, get a secure link and share it with anyone. The note can be read once — then it's permanently deleted. No recovery, no second view.
Why Noteyy
Some things shouldn't sit in an inbox forever.
Passwords, codes and private messages tend to linger in chat histories and email threads long after they're needed. Noteyy sends them as a link that works exactly once.
Read once, then deleted
When the note is opened it's permanently deleted. There's no recovery and no second view — for you or anyone else.
Encrypted at rest
Notes are stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM while they wait to be read.
Optional password
Add a password for an extra layer of protection, and send it to your recipient separately from the link.
Choose when it expires
Keep a note until it's read, or have it expire after 1 hour, 1 day, 7 days or 30 days.
Attachments
Add files to a note if you need to, up to 5 MB in total.
Free, no account
Noteyy is free to use with no premium tiers. There's nothing to install and nothing to sign up for.
How it works
Three steps. One read.
Everything happens in your browser at noteyy.com — you don't need an account, and neither does the person you're sending to.
Write the note
Type your message, and optionally add a password, attachments and an expiry time.
Send the link
Noteyy gives you a secure link. Share it any way you like — email, chat or SMS.
It self-destructs
Once your recipient reads the note, it's permanently deleted. The link won't show it again.
Sharing a password
Hand over a login without leaving it lying around.
A colleague needs the staging password today. Paste it into a chat and it stays in that thread indefinitely. Send it as a Noteyy link instead: they open it, copy what they need, and the note is deleted for good.
- The note can be read once, then it's gone
- Add a password and send it over a different channel
- Your colleague doesn't need an account
Expiry & password
Decide how long it waits — and who can open it.
By default a note waits until it's read. If it shouldn't hang around, set it to expire after an hour, a day, a week or a month. For anything sensitive, add a password: it's hashed with bcrypt before it's stored.
- Until read, 1 hour, 1 day, 7 days or 30 days
- Optional password, hashed with bcrypt
- Attachments up to 5 MB in total
What people send
For anything that only needs to be seen once.
If it would be awkward to find in a chat history next year, it's a good fit for Noteyy.
Passwords & access codes
Share a login, a Wi-Fi key or a door code once, without it staying in your messages.
Confidential business info
Send sensitive details to a client or colleague without leaving a copy in their inbox.
Personal messages
Say something private that's meant for one reader, one time.
One-time instructions
Pass on setup steps or handover details that won't be needed again once they're done.
Verification codes
Share a code someone needs right now, and let it disappear as soon as they've seen it.
Surprise messages
Leave a note for someone that's theirs alone — a reveal that only happens once.
Security & privacy
Built to forget.
Noteyy is designed so that a note exists only as long as it has to — and so that nobody is watching who reads it.
Encryption at rest
Notes are encrypted with AES-256-GCM while they're stored.
Permanent deletion
Once a note is read it's permanently deleted. It can't be recovered — not even by the sender.
Password protection
Optional passwords are hashed with bcrypt before storage. Share the password separately from the link.
Not indexed
Every note link is marked noindex, so search engines don't list your notes.
Rate limiting
Built-in rate limiting helps protect notes against brute-force attempts.
No reader tracking
Noteyy doesn't track who reads notes, and note pages are excluded from analytics. The homepage may use anonymous usage stats.
