Why travel with Esender eSIM

Connected from the moment you land.

No queue at the airport kiosk, no tiny SIM tray, no surprise charges when you get home. Sort out your data before you leave and switch it on when you arrive.

190+ countries and regions

Country and regional data plans, from a weekend city break to a multi-country tour.

Install in minutes

Your usual SIM stays in your phone and active, so you can still be reached on your own number.

See what your plan costs before you buy it. No hidden roaming surprises when the bill arrives.

Secure checkout

Pay by card or Apple Pay in a few taps, then install straight away.

Usage and support in the app

Check how much data is left, open a reinstall guide or get support without leaving the app.

How it works

Four steps from booking to browsing.

Do the first three at home on Wi-Fi. The last one takes a few seconds when you land.

  1. Choose a destination

Pick the country or region you're travelling to and the data plan that fits your trip.

  2. Buy your plan

Create your Esender account and check out securely by card or Apple Pay.

  3. Install your eSIM

Follow the in-app QR guide while you're connected to Wi-Fi. It takes minutes.

  4. Connect abroad

When you arrive, switch your data to the travel line and turn on roaming for that eSIM only.

Destinations

One place to find data for wherever you're going.

Search for a single country for a focused trip, or choose a regional plan when your itinerary crosses borders. Plans cover 190+ countries and regions, including popular destinations like Japan, Europe, the USA and the UAE.

  • Country plans for single-destination trips
  • Regional plans for multi-country tours
  • Price shown before you check out

Installation

Scan a code. That's the SIM swap.

An eSIM is a digital SIM built into your phone. After checkout, the app walks you through scanning a QR code on Wi-Fi, and your travel line is added alongside your main number — no tray, no pin, no tiny card to lose.

  • Step-by-step QR guide in the app
  • Works on eSIM-compatible iPhone and Android phones
  • Install at home, before you travel

On the road

Keep an eye on your data, not your bill.

The app shows how much data you have left on each plan, keeps a reinstall guide on hand if you change settings, and puts support one tap away when you need help far from home.

  • Data usage for every eSIM you own
  • Reinstall guides when you need them
  • In-app support while you travel

Compatibility

Does your phone support eSIM?

Most recent iPhones and many recent Android phones support eSIM. Your phone also needs to be carrier-unlocked, so it can use a line from a provider other than your home carrier. Check both before you buy.

On iPhone

Open Settings → Mobile Data (or Cellular). If you see an option such as Add eSIM, your iPhone supports eSIM.

On Android

Open Settings and look under network or connections for SIM manager or an option to add an eSIM. Menu names vary by manufacturer.

Check for an EID

Open your phone's dialler and enter *#06#. If an EID number appears, your phone has an eSIM chip.

Is your phone carrier-locked?A phone bought on a contract or from a carrier may be locked to that network. If you're not sure, ask your home carrier to confirm it's unlocked before you buy a plan. Still stuck? Visit eSIM help.

Made for every kind of trip

However you travel, stay online.

Maps, ride-hailing, boarding passes and messages home — travel runs on mobile data. Pick the plan that matches the trip.

Holidays

Find the restaurant, share the beach photos and keep the family group chat going — from a weekend away to two weeks in the sun.

Business trips

Get online at arrivals, not at the hotel. Take calls on your main number while email and maps run on your travel line.

Team travel data

Multi-country tours

Crossing several borders? A regional plan can cover your route, so you're not buying a new SIM card in every country.

Questions

Esender eSIM FAQ

What is a travel eSIM?

An eSIM is a digital SIM built into your phone. A travel eSIM adds a second line for mobile data abroad, installed by scanning a QR code instead of inserting a physical card.

Where can I use Esender eSIM?

Esender eSIM offers data plans for 190+ countries and regions, including country plans and regional plans for multi-country trips. Search for your destination at esim.esender.com.

When should I install my eSIM?

Install it before you travel while you're connected to Wi-Fi — the in-app QR guide walks you through it in minutes. When you land, enable the travel line for data and turn on roaming for that eSIM only.

Will I keep my normal phone number?

Yes. Your main SIM stays in your phone and remains active, so you can still be reached on your usual number. The Esender eSIM line is used for data.

Will my home carrier charge me roaming fees?

Turn on roaming for the Esender eSIM line only and set it as your data line. Leaving roaming off for your main SIM helps avoid charges from your home carrier — check their terms if you plan to make calls abroad.

How do I pay?

Checkout is secure and accepts card or Apple Pay. The price of each plan is shown before you buy, with no hidden roaming surprises.

How do I check my remaining data or reinstall my eSIM?

Open the Esender eSIM app to see your usage, follow a reinstall guide or contact support.

Is there an Esender eSIM app in the App Store or Google Play?

Store listings are coming soon. Until then, you can find plans and get started at esim.esender.com.
